Contractor classification — your gateway to major projects

Contractor classification — your gateway to major projects

What is the Contractor Classification Certificate?

An official certificate that opens the door to major projects

An official certificate issued by the relevant authorities in the Kingdom via the Balady platform, evaluating the technical, financial, and administrative capabilities of contracting firms, and granting a classification grade in one or more fields.

It is a core requirement to qualify for and compete on government projects and tenders, as the grade awarded determines the ceiling of project value the firm may bid on.

Supervising authority: Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing — applications via the Balady platform

Entering government tenders

A regulatory requirement to participate in government agency projects and major tenders.

Proving technical & financial solvency

Official documentation of your firm's capabilities for owners, financiers, and partners.

Higher-value projects

The higher the classification grade, the higher the ceiling of project value you can compete for.

Trust and competitive edge
